Ben Benson has been shoeing my horses for the past 16 years, I consider Ben a crucial member of the team, he has so much knowledge and experience, always giving each horse his full attention. Ben is very clear about his intentions when shoeing, he assesses them individually and will watch exactly how they move, making changes where necessary. I have the greatest confidence in Ben and trust him implicitly with all my horses.
Hook Norton vets have been treating my horses for many years now, they are extremely thorough and attentive with all the horses needs. As the horses have progressed to the higher levels of competition, I have been working with vets dedicated to performance horses, it is paramount to the success and maintenance of each horse to have a vet that cares, not just about improving performance but more importantly about the welfare of the horses too.
Annabelle Galt is a superb physiotherapist and has been treating my horses for many years, her magic hands make a huge difference to how the horses feel, they are noticeably more relaxed and have more bounce after she has treated them. Annabelle is always so cheery, has sound advice and is absolutely an essential part of our team.
Why i choose Black country…..
I have been riding Bear in the Black Country Vinici dressage saddle for the past 4 years and it is no less than superb. I love the position it sits me in as rider and the fact that you can feel so much more through your seat as its a close contact.
Bear has freedom in his shoulders and is able to be supple and powerful because of this saddle. Bear is a wide boy, a rugby player if he were human i think and the Vinici suited him straight away, he’s in an off the peg saddle and its been perfect for him from the early stages of his education to know training towards Grand Prix.
